Eric Bana to star in ‘Hanna’

Great news! According to the reliable Variety, Eric Bana is in final negotiations to star opposite Saoirse Ronan in Focus Features’ assassin pic Hanna.

Story centers on a 14-year-old girl who has spent her life living in the woods and is trained by her father to be an assassin. She then leaves the wilderness for the first time to assassinate a high-ranking government official who has a lot to hide. Seth Lochhead penned the script with Joe Wright (Atonement) directing the movie. Hanna begins filming in Germany in March.
